Ignacio Conor is a teacher of English, songwriter, hip-hop, poetry and spoken word artist, storyteller and columnist born on the island of Saint Martin. After receiving a scholarship, he moved to the Netherlands to pursue his career. Ignacio has been an educator and actively involved in the Dutch education system for more than a quarter of a century. Over the years, he has established himself as a creative writer and artist. He has hosted hip-hop, poetry and spoken word workshops at schools, libraries and festivals. His test novel ‘Bekrachtiging,’ which means empowerment, was published in 2020.
