‘Ignacio is an English teacher, songwriter, rapper, columnist, storyteller and spoken word artist. He lives in the Netherlands and has been an educator for more than a quarter of a century. Ignacio has established himself as a poetry and spoken word artist by hosting seminars and workshops at schools, libraries and festivals. His novel ‘The Omen Is A Woman’ is a storytelling narrative inspired by time spent in two consecutive comas. The themes in the book are identity, self-growth, self-preservation and Black American History. Ignacio uses poetry to convey his deep rooted emotions, and his  heartwarming compassion.’
